Day 1: Seam Reap Arrival

Welcome to Kingdom of Wonder. Upon arriving in Siem Reap airport, you will be met and transfer you to your hotel. Spend the rest of day free at leisure to discover Siem Reap is the center of Angkor.

Day 2: Angkor Wat Tour in Small Circuit (B)

Breakfast at hotel, we take a full day Tuk-Tuk discovering the famous Angkor Complex. We’ll enter the South Gate of Angkor Thom Temple and marvel the wonders of the eerie Bayon, the terrace of Elephants and terrace of Leper King. Before lunch, visit Ta Prohm Temple unlike most of the other Angkor temples, Ta Prohm has been left just it was founded: the photogenic and atmospheric combination of trees growing out of the ruins and the jungle surroundings have made it one of Angkor's most popular temples with visitors.
In the afternoon, we visit the famous Angkor Wat, built for king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. The largest and best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious centre—first Hindu, then Buddhist—since its foundation.

Day 3: Angkor Wat Tour in Grand Circuit (B)

Breakfast at hotel, today we will spend about half hour journey to reach Banteay Srei temple by Tuk-Tuk, one of the most unusual temples of Angkor, Cambodia. It lies 20 km due north of the main group. It is built largely of red sandstone, which is covered with elaborate and deeply carved decoration. We continue our journey by Tuk-Tuk discovering the wonders of Angkor with visits to several ancient temples. Visit Ta Keo an incomplete temple in the Khleang style built as the state temple of Jayavarman V. Thommanon one of a pair Hindu temple built in the end of the 11th century. Banteay Kdei Temple a massive Buddhist monastery from the latter part of the 12th century is surrounded by for concentric walls. The Prasat Kravan temples a group of five unique brick towers contain large wall sculptures of Vishnu and Lakshmi. The Srah Srang a royal bathing Palace, located east of Banteay Kdei. It was constructed in the mid-10th century, and modified in the 12th or 13th century.
Our last stop at Pre Rup anarchitecturally and artistically superior temple-mountain. Beautifully carved false doors on upper level, as well as an excellent view of the surrounding countryside. Richly detailed, well-preserved carvings. Traditionally believed to be a funerary temple, but in fact the state temple of Rajendravarman II. Ideal for sunset.

Day 4: Full Day Tour to Beng Mealea, Roulous Group & Kampong Phluk (B)

Breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to the quiet Beng Mealea spending around 1 hour drive. Enjoy a short walk through the dense jungle and discover the wonders of an overgrown temple, Beng Mealea, which lay undiscovered for centuries. On the way back, take time to visit The Roluos Group is a collection of monuments representing the remains of Hariharalaya, the first major capital of the Angkorian-era Khmer Empire. It has become known as the ‘Roluos Group’ due to its proximity to the modern town of Roluos. Next, visit Kampong Phluk is a cluster of three villages of stilts houses built within the floodplain of the Tonle Sap lake about 16 km southeast of Siem Reap. Flooded mangrove forest surrounds the areas and is home to a variety of wildlife including crab-eating macaques. After long day excursion, so we will go to local massage shop and experience 01 hour foot massage with Khmer tranditional style.

Day 5: Siem Reap - Battambang by overland transfer (B)

 This morning, you will be transferred through overland to Battambang provice to the former French provincial town. It is an elegant riverside town with wonderful French colonial architecture. It is easily navigated by foot and we spend the afternoon walking along the river viewing the old French period shop houses and Cambodian temples as well as a trip to the vibrant local markets.  Check in hotel and proceed to visit Ek Phnom is an 11th century Angkorian ruin built as a Hindu temple under Suryavarman 1.
In the evening, visit The Phare Ponleu Selpak (PPS) NGO in the evening. The NGO was founded in 1994 and is dedicated to taking care of vulnerable and disadvantaged children in the Battambang community. They do this through their quality artistic schools: they teach the children theater and circus arts, visual arts and music. Since 1998 PPS has produced numerous acts and shows that are performed all over Cambodia as well as abroad. We are introduced to their program and enjoy a revue show afterwards including live music, choreography, acrobatics, poetry and burlesque.

Day 6: Full Day Tour in Battambang (B)

Visit part of the beauty of Battambang is its proximity to small scenic villages and ancient Wats (temples). Today we take a day to explore the surrounding villages and hilltop temples found in the area. The local people of Battambang are very welcoming and friendly making this a highlight of any journey to Cambodia. First, we visit Phnom Banan is a mountaintop, 11 century Angkorian ruin consisting of five temples and peaceful location with a nice view of the area. The rest of day, is your own chance to explore more about local standard living nearby the river. On the way back to Battambang, visit Phnom Sambov mountain, steeped in legend, and topped by Wat Sampeou and a group of caves used as “Killing caves”by the Khmer Rouge.

Day 7: Battambang – Phnom Penh (B)

Today we depart our lush surroundings and travel by bus to Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh. The 3 – 4 hour drive takes us along a newly paved road past traditional towns and villages dotted with the familiar sight of the tall skinny sugar palm trees and rice fields. On arrival at Phnom Penh we will transfer to our hotel where the rest of the day is at leisure to explore this vibrant capital of Cambodia.

Day 8: Sightseeing in Phnom Penh (B)

Breakfast at hotel, you will be greeted by a Cyclo driver who will take you on a tour to the most remarkable sights of Phnom Penh. First you will ride along the riverfront to the Independent Monument the Naga (total 100) or snake motif is one, which can be seen in historic, cultural and modern-day. Afterward, we proceed to discover the opulent Royal Place home to Cambodia's Royal family, and the National Museum with its superb collection of Khmer art. We continue our sightseeing to visit Wat Phnom a 15th century stupa. Wat Phnom, a small hill crowned by an active wat (pagoda) marks the legend of Phnom Penh City.
This afternoon, you will gain insight into Cambodia's recent history on a visit to the remarkable Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, housed in a former school that was taken over by the Khmer Rouge and used as its main detention and torture center named 'S-21'. A grim, but important visit that will allow you to dig below the surface and understand Cambodia better. We drive out of Phnom Penh heading to Killing Field become the peaceful stretch of countryside where over 10,000 people were executed. The remains of some of them are stored in a memorial to remind people of the atrocities the Khmer Rouge inflicted on other Khmers. In the evening, we embark on boat for 01 hour sunset cruise on Mekong River.
